The Human Scale Design team is led by 2 creative directors with backgrounds in Architecture, Interior design & Furniture design. The team works closely with each client throughout the design process, al the way through to the final outcome.
Our manufacturing team consists of the best team of welders, grinders and steel smiths out there.
Our workshop is based in the heart of an industrial area called Roodepoort in Johannesburg, South Africa.
As a team we dedicate our time to bring our clients the best quality and service that they deserve.

How do I customize an item?
You can send us an email with the item you would lie, what you would like to custom and the sizes you require.
Returns policy:
- Any item that has been customized will not be eligible for a refund.
- Items can only be returned if it has manufacturing faults that can be proven.
- Refunds are only allowed If you cancel your order within 5 days of the purchase date.
- Please contact us to arrange for cancelation and refund of a order.

Can I collect my order?
Yes you can! Collection of items can be arranged at our factory in Roodepoort. You will be notified when your item is ready for collection.
Do you have a showroom?
Unfortunately we do not have a showroom as all of our pieces are made to order. Our factory is based in Roodepoort. We do viewings by appointment only, email us to set up a meeting.
What happens if my order is not delivered on its due date?
Quality takes time and sometimes things happen that we cannot control, our team will keep you updated and notify you if your item is going to be delayed.
How much is shipping?
Our prices includes delivery to Pretoria and Johannesburg.
Delivery outside of our delivery perimeter is done by an external courier service and shipping costs is calculated by the courier company according to area and items sizes.
Do you have stock?
We do not keep stock, all of our items are made to order.
What is your lead time?
Full steel items our lead time is 10-15 working days.
Items with glass is 15 -20 working days.
Items with wood is 20 - 25 working days.
How do I check the status of my order?
Nobody likes to be left in the dark, Please do not hesitate to contact us via email, whatsapp or phone call to check on the status of your order.
